Ksheerannam (sweet rice with milk and saffron)

My mom used to make this sweet rice with milk and saffron on kanu day after pongal when we make mixed rice. She used to call it Kesari bhaat. But recently I came to know that there is indeed sweet rice made like this but called Ksheerannam.. This is a very tasty rice, creamy because of the milk and very easy to make
