This is a beautiful recipe, tried and tested several times. I made this with seeds and chocolate chips. You can see pictures of the slice on the inside, below. This load tastes yum!

Prep Time: 30 mins

Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 214 gms Maida

  • 1 and 1/2 tsp Baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda

  • A pinch of Salt

Wet ingredients

  • 2 Over ripe bananas

  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence

  • 157 gms Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Milk

  • 1/3 cup Oil

  • 1 tsp Ghee

Other ingredients

  • 60 gms Sunflower seeds or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients and whisk well

  2. Take 1 tbsp of the dry ingredients and toss in the seeds or the chocolate chips (this is to prevent the seeds or chips from sinking down)

  3. In another mixing bowl, take all the wet ingredients and beat it well

  4. Slowly fold in the dry ingredients and mix till well combined

  5. Add the chips or seeds and slowly incorporate it (I used chips)

  6. Pour this in a greased loaf tin and bake at 180 degrees C for 40-45 minutes till the toothpick comes out clean

  7. Cool completely and then slice
