Corn in Palak Gravy

The Less said about this dish, the better! This dish is healthy with corn kernels in a spinach gravy and best had with rotis.

Cook Time: 30 mins


Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Palak leaves

  • 2 Onions roughly chopped

  • 2 tbsp Grated Ginger garlic

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1 tsp Amchur powder

  • 2 tsps Garam masala

  • 1 tbsp Butter

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  • 1 cup Corn kernels

  • 1 tbsp Kasuri methi

  • 1/4 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Blanch the spinach leaves in hot water and then add it in cold water. Make a puree of this.

  2. Grind together onions and ginger garlic to a fine paste

  3. In a non stick pan add butter and splutter cumin seeds

  4. Add the onion paste and saute till it becomes light brown

  5. Add the salt, chilli powder, garam masala, amchur powder and saute well

  6. Add palak puree and boil for 5 minutes

  7. Add the corn kernels, milk and boil for another 5 minutes

  8. Crush and garnish with kasuri methi

  9. Serve hot with rotis
