Dal Fry (Dhaba style)

Dal fry is basically mixed dal but a bit thicker than the normal dal and is best had with Tandoori rotis. You get this in the roadside dhabas and the dhaba style is basiclly the burnt smell which is through infusing live charcoal into the dish. I forgot to take the picture of the charcoal when I tried it for the first time in this dal because I was busy concentrating on how to do it
