Eggless Tutti Fruitti Cake

This is a simple cake that I usually make when I have left over Tutti Frutti mix after Christmas.

Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins


Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp maida

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Thick yogurt

  • 1 tsp Fruit essence

  • 1/4 cup Butter

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda

  • 1/2 cup Tutti frutti mix

Instructions

  1. Toss the tutti frutti mix in 1 tbsp maida and keep aside

  2. In a mixing bowl add the sugar, butter and yogurt and whisk well

  3. Add the essence and mix well

  4. In another bowl, add the maida, baking powder and baking soda and whisk well

  5. Mix the flour mixture into the wet mixture and mix gently

  6. Add the tutti frutti mixture and mix well

  7. Bake this in a greased cake mould at 180 degrees C preheated for around 30 minutes or till a toothpick comes clean

  8. Slice them once they are completely cool
