Eggless Coffee Chocolate Walnut Cookies

This recipe has a twist of coffee in it, making it a special one.

Cook Time: 11 mins




Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup Salted butter

  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar

  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence

  • 1/4 cup Yogurt

  • 1 tsp Warm milk

  • 2 tsp Coffee powder

  • 1/4 cup Chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a small cup dissolve coffee powder in warm milk and keep aside

  2. In a bowl, add the butter, curd and sugar and beat it well

  3. Add the milk-coffee mixture, vanilla essence and mix well

  4. Fold in the dry mixture gently, mixing it thoroughly

  5. Add the walnuts and form a dough without kneading it hard

  6. Cover with a cling foil and refrigerate for an hour

  7. Make balls out of this and line them in a greased baking tray

  8. Make a criss cross design with the fork and bake them in a preheated oven at 170 degrees C for 12-15 minutes, keeping a watch not to burn them
